Six colourful plant fossils from Germany dating to the Carboniferous Pennsylvanian period (about 308–305 million years ago), comprising Neuropteris, Sphenophyllum, Sphenopteris coemansi and Trigonocarpus, offered as a natural, original collection of six specimens with gümbelite covering from a volcanic heating process.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

6 exceptional and awesome fossils, 5 different species, showing Neuropteris 3x, Sphenopteris coemansi, Sphenophyllum, Trigonocarpus and Neuropteris ovata within lovely natural colours, due to mineral gümbelite covering the fossils during a natural heating volcanic process underneath the fossilized layers that resulted in a chemical process within the fossil.

The fossils are between 308 and 305 million years old.
