Rare, magnificent, legendary Dual 1019 in splendid condition. Original Dual plinth with a hinged, beautifully fabric-covered dust cover still in excellent condition with no cracks. Enthusiasts of precision mechanics will fully appreciate this model. Not only is there a very ingenious automatic that places the tonearm onto the record and removes it at the end, but the 1019 from 1966 is already equipped with a precise anti-skating mechanism for stereo cartridges and is, in that respect, an upgrade over the Dual 1009. The fully balanced platter and the mechanical pitch control complete the setup. Dual spared no expense to extract the most from your vinyl collection. These qualities caused many other brands to purchase this turntable and incorporate it into their top-model radio furniture or hi-fi lines. This one has been fully serviced and works perfectly both manually and in full automatic. The gold-plated Cinch (tulip) connectors have been replaced, and it comes with a very good Shure cartridge M44 MG with a good stylus. In true collector condition.
