AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Celtic La Tène Bronze Bow Fibula - 4th to 3rd Century BC

A bronze bow fibula with a strongly arched body that broadens across its upper curve before narrowing towards the spring and the upturned foot. The long pin survives beneath the bow, while the raised terminal gives the piece its distinctive silhouette. These features are consistent with brooch traditions of the European Iron Age, particularly the La Tène family, although a more precise classification would require examination of the spring and foot in person. Its surface is covered by a varied green patina, with darker areas, mineral deposits and visible wear along the exposed edges.

Material: Bronze
Dimensions: 4.7 cm length.
Weight: 5. gr

Provenance: Adquired in Germany from an auction house in 2026.

We guarantee the authenticity of the pieces, backed by the combined experience of our experts spanning more than 40 years. A Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) will be sent digitally by email.
