Double-sided scale from the Jakob Maul house. A double-sided scale consists of two inclined scales mounted mirror-image. The scale has two scales, one slightly higher from 0 g to 350 g and beneath it a clearly more precise scale from 0 to 100 g. Each scale is hung from a part of the scale, reading the weight on the opposite part of the scale. Each part of the scale has a counterweight that is moved outward during use of the scale.
The scale bears an embossing with the company name, distinguishing it from the many commercial imitations.
There are small, normal signs of aging or use that attest to its age and enhance its charm.
Ideal for furnishing houses in a vintage or retro style or for giving character to public spaces.
