Federico Alibrio's Wood Barn Owl - Spirit is a bronze-colour bas-relief in diplast and resin, depicting a barn owl, 32 cm high, 15 cm wide, 7 cm deep, hand-signed, made in Italy in 2026, with a rear wall-hanging hole.
Description from the seller
Wood Barn Owl - Spirit is a diplast bas-relief depicting a barn owl, an animal symbol of wisdom, mystery, transition, intelligence, mysticism, protection and secret.
The peculiarity of the sculpture lies in its surface, which mimics the texture of a branch, making the piece unique in its kind.
The work is part of a series where every piece is unique because it is patinated with different effects; pieces identical in shape but unique in color. On the back there is a hole to mount it on the wall, and it will be shipped in careful packaging.
The Sicilian artist Federico Alibrio, born in 1995, is always seeking inspiration to grow through new experiences.
Graduated in Sculpture in 2021 from the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, he works in sculpture and painting. He has participated and continues to participate in exhibitions and symposiums of high cultural profile, demonstrating commitment and seriousness in approaching sculptural practice.
"Open-minded people find inspiration anywhere" is one of his philosophical approaches.
Reality itself is the greatest source of inspiration. His passions are: wildlife (sensitive to endangered species) and trees. His goal is to showcase the beauty of nature.
