Description from the seller
The Lenco A-300 (often branded Lenco-Italia A 300) is a vintage integrated stereo amplifier dating from the late 1970s to the very early 1980s. It belongs to the era when the Swiss brand, famous for belt-driven turntables (like L75/L78), licensed production and collaborated with Italian/European plants and Asian components for its line of amplifiers and tuners.
Main Specifications
Solid-state integrated stereo amplifier
Output power ~30 W RMS per channel into 8 Ω
Response / THD
Total harmonic distortion (THD) around 0.2%
Display / Aesthetics
Front panel in aluminum with dual backlit analog needle VU meters
Inputs Phono MM, Tuner, Aux, Tape Monitor (RCA/DIN depending on the series)
Controls Tone Bass, Treble, Balance, Loudness, Low/High filters, A/B speaker selector
Dimensions and Weight
Approximately 430 x 132 x 220 mm for ~7.8 kg
Technical Assessment and Pros/Cons
Construction and aesthetics: The real strong point for collectors is the vintage look: a thick satin aluminum front, solid knurled knobs, and, above all, the two large needle analog VU meters that offer strong visual appeal in an era-appropriate setup.
Sound performance: Warm tonal character typical of transistors of the era, present midrange and good musicality with traditional turntables. With 30 W per channel it handles bookshelf or floor-standing speakers with medium-high efficiency (≥ 89-90 dB) well.
