Auction description:
Elegant Roman disk fibula made in bronze, belonging to the tradition of small personal adornments used during the Roman Empire to fasten mantles and other garments.
It features an attractive circular design, headed by a small central relief button, surrounded by a clearly defined concentric ring. The outer area incorporates various radially arranged recessed geometric fields, which provide balance and ornamental richness to the composition.
