Magnificent set of 12 modernist knife rests from the famous French silversmith house Bouillet Bourdelle, designed by artist Jean-Luc Bertard.

Materials: Polished solid metal frame with a burgundy central motif in “Métanodé” (hand-polychromed anodized aluminum).

Presentation: Exceptional lot sold complete in its two original boxes from the Lille shop “Votre Table,” accompanied by its care manual and the handwritten purchase invoice dating from 26 December 1983.

Weight: 55 g per knife rest / 844 g total for the two complete boxes.

Condition and peculiarity: Very good overall condition. Note: on 4 of the 12 pieces, the burgundy plaque slightly protrudes from the metal level on one side only (the others are perfectly flat). This detail, related to artisanal manufacturing or time, does not hinder their use.
