Polaroid Land Camera Automatic 220 with accessories, in very good physical condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
On auction is a Polaroid Land Camera 220. From a private collection. Shows slight signs of age and in excellent cosmetic condition.
Includes flash, flash-bulbs and instruction manual.
In this camera in order to operate the electronic shutter the internal contacts have been modified by soldering on a battery holder to accommodate three standard AAA 1,5V batteries.
The Polaroid Land Camera Model 220 is a folding bellows instant camera produced between 1967 and 1969. It is part of the famous 100–400 series of Polaroid cameras that use the Packfilm system (the so-called "peel-apart" films).
Today, it is considered a classic vintage collectible.
As an entry-to-mid-level model in the series, it features a two-element plastic lens and a viewfinder with a non-folding rangefinder. The rangefinder is used to align the double image and calibrate manual focus before taking the shot.
It is equipped with an external light meter that automatically adjusts the shutter speed based on ambient light.
It features a selector on the front for setting film speed, originally optimized for 75 ASA color film (e.g., Polacolor Type 108) and 3000 ASA black-and-white film (e.g., Type 107).
Some enthusiasts choose to modify them by hand to adapt them for use with traditional film rolls (such as the 120 format).
Shipping weight is approximately 1,6 kg. and sizes 28x23x11 cm.
Will be shipped in sturdy package by express courier.
