Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A decorative pair of vintage Art Deco serving pieces from France, made of clear UV-reactive uranium glass and dating to circa 1930–1940, comprising a rectangular 24 × 18 × 3.5 cm serving dish and a 16 × 7.5 × 7 cm saucière.
Description from the seller
A particularly decorative duo of two vintage serving pieces in clear, presumably uranium-containing pressed glass, executed in different designs with characteristic Art Deco influences.
Both objects exhibit under ultraviolet light a striking, intensely greenish-yellow fluorescence, which beautifully contrasts with their clear, nearly colorless appearance in normal daylight.
Rectangular serving dish
Elegantly shaped dish with beveled corners, broad geometric rim and clean lines. The restrained form complements the Art Deco style of the interwar period.
Dimensions: 24 × 18 × 3.5 cm.
Decorative sauce tureen
Graceful sauce cup with richly profiled relief decoration, elegantly shaped handle and rising pouring spout. The play of light in the pressed glass emphasizes the refined details of the design.
Dimensions: 16 × 7.5 × 7 cm.
