Description from the seller
Antique wooden frame with folkloric design and subtle Art Nouveau influences
Characterful vintage frame in dark brown wood, featuring decorative, organically shaped ornaments and a contrasting cream-colored inner border. The flowing contours and asymmetrical accents give the whole piece a pronounced artisanal character, with a light Art Nouveau touch in the smooth, natural lines.
The frame has a warm, well-worn appearance and shows visible signs of aging that contribute to its authentic character. A glass panel is also present.
The image of a paradise bird on warm, coffee-milk brown paper is included solely for illustration and serves to show a possible presentation of the frame.
Dating: probably early to mid-20th century, circa 1920–1935.
Material: wood, cream-colored inner border and glass panel.
Style: rustic, folkloric design with subtle Art Nouveau influences.
A decorative and characterful object for lovers of antique frames, traditional woodcarving, and vintage interior pieces.
