The lens construction is designed to correct chromatic aberrations over the entire focusing range. This results in very sharp, bright, and high-contrast images, regardless of the focus point or aperture setting. The optical design also helps to control distortion and vignetting.
The lens is further equipped with the Hyper Sonic AF motor, which provides fast, quiet, and accurate focusing and a large focus ring, allowing you to manual focus by simply turning the focus ring at any moment.
The Sigma 85mm F/1.4 ART DG HSM is equipped with a Super Multi-Layer Coating. This minimizes ghosting and lens flare and contributes to producing high-contrast, color-neutral images, even against backlight.
