Description from the seller
The design and excellence of this model are tied to one of the most celebrated pages in modern real history. In 1981, the L'Épée 1839 manufactory was chosen to create a limited and numbered edition of only 100 carriage clocks (housed in special Hermès-branded cases), commissioned as an exclusive wedding gift for the guests of honor at the royal wedding between Prince Charles and Lady Diana. This historic link to the British Crown makes L'Épée travel models a universal symbol of nobility, collecting, and timeless French elegance.
