Description from the seller

vintage, glossy polychrome porcelain table lamp produced in the early 1960s/1970s by the renowned Italian ceramics maker ACF Artistiche Ceramiche Fiorentine of Sesto Fiorentino.

The piece bears on the base the original blue factory mark with the mold numerical code 333 impressed in relief into the porcelain.

An item of exceptional collectible value is the original period lampshade, preserved intact and crafted with the exclusive twisted pleat textile technique, enriched by a double perimeter lace hem embroidered on both the upper and lower edges.

The item is sold in its current visual state as a piece to be restored. The original electrical installation with PVC cord and Bakelite lampholder must be replaced as it is not functional. Structurally, there is a superficial chip on the porcelain at the neck of the stem where the electrical fitting joins, and a metal rib of the lampshade’s inner frame that has detached from the central ring and needs to be secured.

A high-quality piece of Italian ceramic art, ideal for conservative restoration work and vintage collecting.
