Table service for 12 – “VecchioGinori”

Richard Ginori

When we speak of “Vecchio Ginori” we are not merely talking about porcelain, but about the history of Italian craftsmanship, timeless elegance, that formal purity that has made Ginori one of the absolute world’s excellences.

Wonderful and important Richard Ginori porcelain service, Vecchio Ginori shape, consisting of 80 pieces, enriched by a refined decoration of stylized blue flowers, elegant, refined and of great visual impact.

An ensemble of great charm, ideal for those who love high-quality Italian porcelain, formal tables and coordinated services that are hard to find complete. The Vecchio Ginori shape is one of Richard Ginori’s best-known and most sought-after models, internationally recognizable for its elegant lines, wavy rims and embossed details, elements that give every piece a precious, timeless look.

The blue floral decoration is the real protagonist of the service: stylized flowers with shades from light blue to deep blue, distributed on the white porcelain and enhanced by a thin blue line along the edges. The result is a luminous, refined and very scenographic composition, perfect both for an elegant table and to be displayed in a sideboard or a display case.

The richness of the shapes makes this service particularly complete and versatile. It includes zigzag edges, decorative reliefs, sinuous handles and lids with molded knobs, details that testify to the aesthetic care typical of Richard Ginori’s production. Stand out especially the large tureen and the characteristic square salad bowl, important pieces with great presence, hard to miss.

An ample coordinated tableware set for dining, tea and coffee, composed of:

• 1 tureen with lid
• 5 pieces among creamers, sugar bowls and teapot/coffee pot
• 1 large oval serving platter
• 1 gravy boat or small oval dish
• 1 round salad bowl
• 1 distinctive square salad bowl
• 10 appetizer/dessert plates
• 12 coffee cups
• 12 coffee saucers
• 12 tea cups
• 12 tea saucers
• 12 Macedonia bowls

Such a broad and coordinated set represents a rare opportunity for collectors, Richard Ginori enthusiasts and lovers of Italian tableware. The presence of numerous service pieces, in addition to the cups and bowls, allows you to set a complete and harmonious table, always maintaining a strong aesthetic coherence.

Excellent overall condition, except for 2 of the 10 appetizer/dessert plates, which have chipping on the rim, clearly documented in the photographs. All other items are in excellent overall condition, with the decoration well preserved and a great aesthetic yield.

An important, elegant and scenographic service, capable of enhancing any setting. A perfect proposition for those seeking an authentic Richard Ginori set, complete, decorative and rich in personality, with a combination of worked porcelain, refined shapes and a blue decoration with a strong, timeless character.
