Description from the seller
Set of 7 martini high glasses/cocktails, height 15.4 x diameter 12.3 cm. The manufacturer is a well-known Swedish brand specializing in tableware, porcelain, and interior design, crystal: Duka, from the Sergel series (inspired/designs with references to the Swedish artist and sculptor Johan Tobias Sergel). Year founded: 1962. History: Born from the union of 16 independent Swedish shops specializing in porcelain, glassware, and home goods (the oldest among them had opened in 1920 in Linköping by Hjalmar Blomkvist). Description: The transparent, brilliantly clear mouth-blown crystal glass is an elegant conical goblet. The bowl features a tapered, slender cone shape, supported by a stem worked with a central node (goblet stem) and a flat circular base. The distinguishing feature is the gilded/bronzed frieze etched and decorated along the upper band of the bowl, depicting festoons, stylized drapery, ribbons, and laurel garlands in a strictly neoclassical style. Origin of the ornament: The design is inspired by the neoclassical friezes and motifs created by court sculptor and Swedish artist Johan Tobias Sergel (1740–1814), from whom the series takes its name.
