AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Set of 6 elegant walnut wood chairs, Louis Philippe style, with backrest and seat in Vienna straw.
Chairs with a good presence, characterized by a solid wood structure, tall and shaped backrest, contoured legs and artisanal workmanship. The set shows a beautiful patina and the normal signs of age, testifying to its age and use.
Dating is indicatively traceable to the end of the 19th century / first decades of the 20th century, but I do not have documentation certifying the exact era.
Conditions:
* 4 chairs in good condition and usable;
* 1 chair with Vienna straw seat to be redone;
* 1 chair requires consolidation work because there is a bit of looseness in the frame.
The Vienna straw backs of the intact chairs are in good condition.
Ideal for classic furnishing, period homes, study, dining room, or for those who appreciate the restoration of antique furniture.
Sale of the entire group of 6 chairs.
Visible by appointment only in the Rome area and province. I do not ship unless at the buyer’s expense, given the delicacy and size of the pieces.
