Fetish - Voodoo Vodun - Fon - Benin

Fetish Vaudou, Fon culture, Benin. H.39cm

Captivating Vaudou fetish from Benin. It consists of a central figure surrounded by two small figures and a dog’s skull. The whole is held by cords and plant fibers. It is a powerful object; it captures our attention and plunges us into its mysterious universe. Only its patron knows its real function. Beautiful patina of offerings. A fine collection piece of ancient and authentic Vaudou cult.
