Description from the seller

Elegant pair of English table frames in hammered sterling silver, forged between the late 19th and early 20th century, in full Art Nouveau taste with Rococo Revival influences. The frames feature richly embossed relief with cherubs, floral scrolls, vegetal motifs, and ornamental cartouches of great visual impact.
The quality of the relief work and the depth of the details give the pieces a refined and substantial presence, typical of high-end English silverware destined for aristocratic residences of the era. The English hallmarks present attest to British manufacture with London assay.
The frames retain their original elegant stand, covered in velvet on the back, an element that further enhances the authentic charm of the whole.
Sold exclusively as a pair.
Total weight of the lot: 754 grams.
The weight includes the wooden internal structure, the glass, the back support and the sterling silver covering of both frames.
The measurements indicated in the listing refer to the larger frame.
A decorative pair of great charm, ideal for collectors of English silver, interior designers, or classic and elegant settings.
