Lot Solido / Hachette Militaire 1/50 - Set Tracked Berliet T12 & US M47 Patton Tank "Sommepy" with Original Boxes
Description :
Superb vintage military set at 1/50 scale from the collaboration between Solido and Hachette Collections, presented in excellent conservation condition. This iconic lot highlights the exceptional convoys of the French Army.
The set consists of :
1. The Heavy Tractor Berliet T12 (8x8) and its Low-Profile Semi-Trailer: Robust metal (zamak) and plastic construction. The tractor has its two spare wheels attached to the back of the cab, orange beacon lights, and its removable "Transport Exceptionnel" sign on the roof. The trailer features its articulated rear access ramps that are functional. Solido-engraved chassis, guaranteeing French manufacture from the period.
2. The US M47 Patton Continental Medium Tank "Sommepy": Version with standard French markings (registration 824241, pont class label 49). It is equipped with the famous metal articulated tracks by Solido (perfectly fluid and functional), a 360° rotating turret, a movable gun in elevation, and its black 12.7 mm Browning roof machine gun.
3. The Original Boxes: Includes the three green and yellow cartons from the "Les Miniatures" collection corresponding to the three elements.
Condition and details
• Miniatures: Very good overall / Near mint. The original khaki paint is superb, with no major losses. No plastic element is broken (the molded mirrors and small deck accessories are all present). The undersides of the chassis show very clean axles and mechanical components, with no trace of oxidation.
• Tracks and Run Gear: The tank’s rollers and metal tracks are flawless, ensuring excellent mobility (see close-ups).
• Boxes: Complete with their flaps. They show light superficial storage marks on the corners and edges (visible in the photos) but retain excellent overall condition.
The numerous high-definition photos provided from all angles serve as additional description to attest to the quality and authenticity of this set.
Specifications
• Brand: Solido / Hachette Collections
• Scale: 1/50
• Main materials: Metal (Zamak) and plastic
• Country of manufacture: France
