Hensoldt Henso Reporter Analogue camera

In this lot an extraordinary, rare, mythical 35mm rangefinder camera from a very high-end collection: the Henso Reporter, manufactured in Germany in Wetzlar by Dr. Hans Hensoldt at the end of the 1940s. This legendary model represents one of the most sought-after and unobtainable pieces in the entire history of world photographic collecting, born just a few steps from the Leica workshops.

The lot presents itself in good overall condition, perfectly functioning, and is complete with its front protective cap and its elusive rigid case, an original-era brown leather hard case ready for use.

Optics. The exclusive and prestigious original integrated lens Dr. Hans Hensoldt - Iriar 1:2.8 f=5cm. The lenses appear structurally sound and free of scratches; for maximum accuracy and transparency, only a normal and localized presence of light internal historical dirt on the left side of the lens is detected, as clearly documented by the photographs, a vintage detail that does not in any way compromise its immense historical and collecting significance.

Mechanical. The lot has been tested and is mechanically functioning.

Aesthetics. Good overall condition, as clearly documented by the detailed photographs. The solid and sturdy metal frame preserves a strong visual impact, displaying its original satin silver finish to a shiny appearance, showing only the normal light surface signs consistent with its age.

Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally ultra-protective packaging to guarantee the maximum safety of this museum piece during transport.
