This iconic pineapple is crafted in clear cut crystal with a crown of gilded, hammered leaves (hammered leaves). The pineapple is the symbol of hospitality and belongs to the beloved Sparkling Fruit collection, designed by Max Schreck.
This is the large version:
• Art.nr.: A 7507 NR 105 001 / 010044 - as on the sticker on the bottom of the tube (see photo 2) - Made in Austria • Height: approx. 105 mm (4.25 inches) • Period: introduced in 1981 and retired in 2007
State & Origin:
Crystal is in excellent condition, clear, no chips or damage, nice facets. The gilding of the leaves is still a beautiful gold. Comes with the original gray Swarovski Silver Crystal koker/tube case with swan print. The case shows light signs of use and has the original shop sticker with price f 344,00 still present - nice for provenance. The case is somewhat discolored/damaged at the bottom, see photo.
