ABSOLUT KOREA 2016 | Limited Edition | Collector’s Bottle + tag
Absolut Korea – Local Limited Edition 2016
A special collector’s edition of Absolut Vodka inspired by South Korean culture, released in 2016.
Created in collaboration with contemporary Korean artist Heo Wook, this limited-edition bottle presents a distinctive artistic interpretation of Korea, combining traditional cultural elements with a modern visual language.
The multidimensional design draws inspiration from traditional Korean architecture and the Hangul alphabet. The Korean letters fit together like pieces of a puzzle, with consonants and vowels intricately combined to form the word “Absolut”.
The design also incorporates the five symbolic Korean obang colours: blue, red, yellow, white and black. Yellow takes centre stage, representing the concepts of centre, brightness and hope, and symbolising Korea’s dynamic and promising future.
The bottle celebrates the country’s cultural heritage while reinterpreting it through contemporary art and design.
