RIMSA Pantograph Industrial Lamp - 1970s
Fascinating vintage pantograph desk lamp, produced by the historic Milanese company RIMSA (Rappresentanza Italiana Materiali Sanitar Affini) between the late 1960s and the 1970s. An icon of Italian industrial design, originally designed for drawing tables and technical offices.
The lamp features a beautiful two-tone combination with cream-colored articulated arms and a louvered diffuser in a refined red burgundy/cranberry shade. On the metal base structure, the original inscription of the brand "RIMSA - PRODOTTO ITALIANO" is clearly visible.
The electrical system is original, tested, and perfectly functional. The arms and balancing springs securely hold position at every angle.
Condition and Notes for collectors:
• Diffuser: Replaced with an original RIMSA spare part from the era.
• Terminal block: Present, but not original (generic period spare part).
• The overall aesthetic condition is very good, with a slight and charming patina of time on the metal components that attests to its authenticity.
