Cupboard - Zeeland cabinet Panel cabinet, column cabinet, rack cabinet, pilaster cabinet, notary cabinet, - Oak - The patina was magnificent, with secret storage space.

Flemish or Zeeland oak panel- or pilaster cabinet with four doors, paneled sides on continuous side posts with fine hand carving. In the middle section one drawer and in the upper cabinet four concealed drawers. This handsome piece of furniture from the second half of the 17th century is quite exceptionally sober yet graceful in its details. Thus the frieze is simple but executed with a central piece and lion heads; the paneled sides have characteristic raised moulding. The locks (all five) work with a key. The hinges are also from the period. A magnificent whole. The cabinet consists of three parts, with a beautiful, very warm patina from an early wax finish. Has some early restorations. Holland, ca. 1620-1660.

Recently thoroughly checked for loose parts of construction and veneer. No active woodworm found on 14/10/2026
