Description from the seller
Splendid and elegant cheese server (or Parmesan keeper) of oval shape, made in solid 800-grade silver and fine faceted crystal. A piece of table art from high Italian craftsmanship, perfect to enrich an silverware collection or to be used as a prestige element during the most important lunches.
The set consists of 4 original elements:
• Display stand / underplate and supporting structure with worked feet and an elegant handle finely decorated with scrolls.
• Coordinated silver lid with a shell/flower-shaped knob.
• Inner bowl in transparent cut crystal, perfectly contoured to fit the structure.
• Original silver teaspoon with a shell-shaped end (San Marco / English style).
Marks and Assays:
The silver components clearly bear the official marks of the Italian State (visible in the photos):
• Purity mark: "800" inside an oval, certifying the authenticity of the silver.
• Factory mark: "★ 240 PD" inserted in the polygonal cartouche, corresponding to the famous Bellotto silverware from Padua, active in the second half of the 20th century.
• Manufacturer’s logo with the stylized letter "B".
Details and Dimensions:
• Material: Solid 800 silver and crystal.
• Total weight of the silver elements (excluding the crystal): 189 grams (Structure with lid: 165 g + Teaspoon: 24 g).
• Era: Second half of the 20th Century (circa the 1970s/1980s).
• Origin: Italy (Padua).
Conditions:
