The 90x22 project develops around a precise dimensional constraint, turning industrial waste into a structural and formal resource. The name refers to the section and length of the scrap steel tubes (90 cm in length and 22 mm in diameter) accumulated by the company during production cycles.
The seating structure is articulated through six identical modules obtained by a single central cut subsequently welded. This simplifies the entire production process, defining a rigorous aesthetic.
The seat was designed to be disassembled at end of life. The upholstered elements, in fact, remain independent from the metal frame and are conceived to be fully removable. A choice that facilitates the repairability of the piece and ensures, at end of life, a clear material separation for proper recycling.
