Wall plate - Hammered brass bowl - Amsterdam School-1920

A beautiful bowl, wall plate, or rather a decorative object, crafted with a great deal of artisanal skill, this hammered bowl in brass is made. The bowl features a decoration of fan-shaped geometric forms that are smoothly and in balance distributed over the bowl. As beautiful as this decorative display is from the front, it is at least as beautiful from the back. The patina has developed over the years and gives it an authentic look that suits its age. The piece bears a master mark which I have not been able to decipher, unfortunately. Overall it is in good condition in keeping with its age.
