Plant table - Vintage side table - oak wood

Vintage oak plant stand / side table – Art Deco style – Netherlands, 1970s

This elegant vintage oak plant stand, also usable as a side table, has a characterful appearance and a beautifully designed wooden construction. The table originates from the Netherlands and is estimated to date from the 1970s.

The table features two levels: a square top with nicely rounded edges and a lower platform. In particular, the graceful vertical slats on the lower level give the piece a particularly decorative character. The slim, slightly flaring legs and the curved wooden joints beneath the top create a harmonious whole.

The warm, dark brown color and the visible grain emphasize the natural character of the oak wood. The design has an elegant look that aligns with the Art Deco style.

Thanks to its compact size, this versatile table is suitable for various spots in the home. Use it as a plant stand for a beautiful houseplant, as a side table next to an armchair, or as a decorative piece for a vase, figurine, or other cherished object. In the living room, hallway, conservatory, or a cozy reading corner, this table fits in nicely. It also makes an attractive addition in a classic, vintage, or eclectic interior.
