Description from the seller
BLOCCO ALBIANO
Composition of cephalopod mollusks dating from about 60-70 million years ago, when the terrible impact of an asteroid on Earth decreed the end of the Cretaceous–Paleogene period.
The natural scenario that followed marked the end of many terrestrial beings but fully involved the entire marine ecosystem.
The asteroid's devastating impact on Earth also had among its most terrible consequences the formation of numerous abnormal waves that gathered shells of cephalopod mollusks on beaches and among rocks.
Within the block you can distinguish:
Ammonites
Cleoniceras
Nautilus
Fossil shells.
A true sculpture, to be observed from every angle and able to evoke unique emotions and suggestions.
A timeless design piece that will never go unnoticed, an object that will make any wunderkammer unique… an auction absolutely worth winning.
Pedestal not included, made from reclaimed material and used for photographic purposes only.
Enjoy the auction.
