Description from the seller
Magnificent antique bisque-headed doll of quality, probably French, dating from the late 19th century / early 20th century.
Very handsome old recessed mark in the neck: stylized monogram “LC” intertwined with an anchor + size 6/0.
The doll measures about 30 cm.
Beautiful presence and superb antique expression with:
- sleep eyes,
- old wig made of real hair / natural hair,
- antique original clothing still present.
The bisque is of very high quality with a finely molded face typical of fine old French productions.
Overall condition remarkable for its age:
- no broken fingers,
- no damaged feet,
- face very clean with a slight patina of time,
- the piece preserved with a lot of freshness.
The clothes appear original and become fragile with age; they have therefore not been removed in order to preserve the integrity of the whole.
