Beautiful original floor lamp from the 1970s with a striking red fabric shade and a decorative lamp stem made of structured glass elements and silver-colored, chrome-plated metal parts.

The lamp is fully functional, very well maintained, and completely original. Thanks to its distinctive design and the silver hardware, it blends exceptionally well with modern interior styles and serves as both a retro statement and a timeless design classic.

What makes it special is the 3-stage switch via the original foot-click switch: by clicking multiple times the lighting can be varied – only the base, base and shade together, or only the shade. Depending on the setting, this creates different light and illumination levels, from gentle mood lighting to bright room illumination.

Inside the base there are two E14 sockets with special bulbs that illuminate the glass area from the inside and produce the typical 70s lighting effect. One of the bulbs in the base is currently defective but can be easily replaced (available online, about €4). The sockets work perfectly – this has been verified by testing with the existing bulb. The photos clearly show that the lighting in the base works on both levels.

Thanks to the special shaping of the glass elements in the lamp base, the light is effectively refracted, creating very beautiful, elegant lighting effects. The combination of the distinctive shade and the high-quality glass base makes the lamp a sculptural element in the room – not just lighting, but a decorative design object with presence.
