European and Murano Glass

Two beautiful vases attributed to Murano.
The technique is Sommerso, meaning submerged. It involves blowing multiple layers of colored glass over a thick outer layer of clear glass.
The shape is a geometrical square block with faceted, beveled edges.
The colors are a deep blue inner core combined with a warm yellow or amber layer and a transparent outer layer.

Unfortunately, a small chip on the bottom corner of one of the two vases.

De techniek heet Sommerso wat ondergedompeld betekend. Hierbij worden meerdere lagen gekleurd glas over elkaar heen geblazen in een dikke buitenlaag van helder glas
De vorm is geometrisch vierkant blokvorm met geslepen gefaseerde kanten.
de kleuren zijn diepblauw binnenkern gecombineerd met een warme gele of amberkleurige laag en transparante buitenlaag.
