Sculpture, Venus van Milo - 30 cm - Marble

Marble statue of the Venus de Milo (also known as Aphrodite of Melos), one of the most iconic classical sculptures in the world. The original marble artwork dates from the Hellenistic period and is on display at the Louvre in Paris.
This specific miniature statue stands out for its two-tone material: the upper body (the torso) is made of white cast marble or alabaster, while the draped cloth and the foot are crafted from a contrasting greenish or mottled marble/stone.
