Pokémon - 2 Card - Jigglypuff & Wigglytuff 1997 Topsun – 2 Japanese Green Back Cards

A matching pair of vintage Japanese Pokémon Topsun cards featuring Jigglypuff and its evolution, Wigglytuff. Both cards are the Green Back variant, with the repeating diagonal Topsun and Pokémon Card lettering printed in green on the reverse.

The lot includes:

• No. 039 – Jigglypuff / プリン (Purin)
• No. 040 – Wigglytuff / プクリン (Pukurin)

The fronts feature colourful character illustrations against distinctive red-and-green backgrounds patterned with Pokémon silhouettes. Cream-yellow borders frame the artwork, while the Japanese information panels list each Pokémon’s category, type, height, weight, moves and descriptive text.

Together, these consecutively numbered cards form an attractive first-generation evolution pair. Their coordinated design and contrasting character illustrations make them particularly appealing for a themed Pokémon collection or a Topsun set.
