Description from the seller

Richard Ginori - Vintage coffee/tea service in precious floral porcelain - 22 pieces - 1950s/1970s

Vintage coffee or tea service in fine white porcelain, comprising 22 pieces in total and produced by the renowned Italian manufactory Richard Ginori.
The set is adorned with a romantic and classic bouquet floral pattern shaded in tones of deep pink and fuchsia/magenta. The sinuous shapes, finely ribbed details on the ceramic bodies, and the delicate molded handles reflect the unmistakable elegance of mid-20th-century Italian design.

The dark green mark stamped under the base, characterized by the five-point crown over the semicircular arrangement, is the historic factory stamp used by the manufactory between the 1950s and 1970s.
Founded in 1735, the Richard Ginori manufactory represents over two and a half centuries of Italian artistic excellence, famous worldwide for the purity, the gloss of the glaze, and the superior quality of its porcelain. This service is not a modern reproduction, but an authentic piece of Italian design history. The signs of time visible do not diminish its charm, but attest to its authenticity and historical era, making the lot of great interest for collectors of the brand and lovers of mid-century modern design.

• 1 Teapot / Coffee pot: Height 16 cm | Width (with handle and spout) 20 cm | Depth 9 cm
• 1 Sugar bowl: Height 8 cm | Width 14 cm | Depth 7.5 cm
• Cups: Height 5.5 cm | Width 7 cm | Depth 5 cm
• Cup saucers: Diameter Ø 11 cm
• Dessert plates / Large plates: Diameter Ø 13.5 cm
• Total weight of the lot: 2,497 grams

The service is sold as is. As an authentic vintage set, it presents some structural defects and signs of use specifically highlighted in the photo gallery, excellent to know for restoration purposes or for use as rare spare parts:
• Teapot / Coffee pot: Structurally solid with glossy glaze, there is a noticeable chip on the upper edge of the spout and some mild dark marks due to the manufacturing on the body.
• Sugar bowl: The body is intact and in excellent condition, however the piece is missing its original lid.
• Cups and Saucers: All remaining items are in generally good condition. They show slight and normal signs of wear consistent with age and use.
Please carefully review the close-up photographs, which are an integral and essential part of the description, before placing a bid.
