Printing blocks - Société Céramique, Maestricht - Netherlands - Printing plate 'Potiche'

A special rectangular copper engraving with the Potiche decor by Société Céramique from Maestricht. On one plate there are two round scenes engraved. Both depict an elegant vase in the center, surrounded by flowers, ribbons, knot motifs and richly decorated circular borders.

The factory mark is also imprinted on the plate: a lion with the inscriptions “Made in Holland”, “Société Céramique”, “Maestricht” and “Potiche”. The plate is a production tool for applying a printed decoration to earthenware, and is not itself a ceramic plate.

Condition: used condition with visible scratches, wear marks, discoloration and local green oxidation. The reverse side also shows signs of use and age. The engraved details are clearly visible. Please inspect the photos carefully for the plate's condition.
