Description from the seller

This exceptional fossil slab features two distinctly pronounced, spirally preserved ammonites set in a naturally preserved matrix. The warm golden-brown to earthy tones of the fossil shells create a harmonious contrast with the light, textured rock matrix and emphasize the animals' characteristic spiral form. Partly appealing is the combination of the larger, dominant ammonite and the smaller specimen, which creates an interesting sense of depth and a particularly decorative overall appearance. The clearly visible septa and the natural surface texture convey an authentic impression of this fascinating world of fossils and make the piece a striking display specimen for a fossil collection, display cabinet, or as an extraordinary piece of natural art.

Weight: 17,324.14 g
Size: 415x300x180 mm
Treatment: Restored
Origin: Morocco
Gem Type: 100% Natural Ammonites Cleoniceras
