Three Imari porcelain plates from the Qianlong period (1736–1795), each 26 cm in diameter, in blue, red and gold with elaborate floral motifs and a finely patterned border, in excellent antique condition with minimal signs of wear.
Description from the seller
3 Magnificent large antique Chinese Imari porcelain plates – 18th century (Qianlong period, Qing dynasty)
3 authentic Chinese export porcelain plates in the beloved Imari style. The plate is richly decorated with the classic palette of underglaze cobalt blue, overglaze iron red, and refined gold accents.
The central design features a stunning floral motif with peonies/chrysanthemums, surrounded by a fine geometric and floral pattern on the wide rim. The back is unglazed and shows the characteristic unglazed footring with the typical iron-colored firing marks, which confirms authenticity and early dating.
* Origin: China
* Style: Chinese Imari (Export porcelain)
* Period: 18th century (ca. 1740-1770)
* Diameter: 26 cm
* Condition: In very good antique condition. No restorations, no hairlines, and no chips, only 3 frits on the rim of 1 plate that are not really noticeable (only minimal, normal age-related wear to the gold and glaze).
A superb collectible and a valuable addition to any collection of Asian art! The item is packed with utmost care and professionalism and shipped worldwide insured with track & trace.
