Fujiko – The Allure of Danger
Dimensions 29cm x 41cm
Watercolor on cotton paper

Original watercolor painted entirely by hand, dedicated to Fujiko Mine, the captivating and unpredictable female protagonist of the Lupin III universe, born from the imagination of the Japanese cartoonist Monkey Punch. Intelligent, independent and endowed with an unmistakable charisma, Fujiko is a character who captivates with her elegance and her ability to surprise, moving gracefully between seduction, cunning, and adventure.

For almost twenty years, Davide Zanella has pursued an artistic research that intertwines traditional watercolor technique with a passion for Japanese illustration and animation. An illustrator and painter, he is the official Mediaset licensee for Lupin III and dedicates part of his production to reinterpretations of the saga's characters, through original works created for Arte Zeta Studio.

Distant from a simple reproduction, the work stands out for its painterly approach and for its ability to offer a new reading of a character that has entered the collective imagination. An original and unique watercolor, of collectible value, conceived for fans of Lupin III, Japanese illustration and pop culture, who wish to add to their collection an artistic homage to one of the most iconic female figures in animation.
