Description from the seller
CANON Canonet 28, tested and working.
Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Canon Canonet 28 of 1971 is a compact automatic 35mm camera with a sharp Canon 40mm f/2.8 lens and programmed automatic exposure, a simple and dependable member of the popular Canonet family. It focuses by distance scale and is ideal for everyday shooting.
Condition: Used — Excellent
Pre-owned, moderate signs of use, optics clear
Serial Number
Please check the photo.
Appearance
Scuffs and scratches from normal use. Please check the photos for details.
Optical Condition
Lens (Canon 40mm f/2.8): Clear, no issues
Viewfinder: Clean (eyepiece and viewfinder cleaned)
Functional
The camera operates properly: shutter fires at all speeds and the light meter responds.
Light seals replaced.
Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.1 OVER / EV15: 0.8 UNDER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.
Servicing
This camera was serviced by us before listing:
- Light seals (foam) replaced
- Viewfinder cleaned internally
Bundled Items
Lens cap included. Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package.
