AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Meissen Splendid Centerpiece Dish on Foot "Wine Leaf Relief"
Manufacture: Meissen, Knaufzeit (approx. 1860–1924).
Model No.: 77.
Master marks: Blind stamp, Form number "77", Bossier mark "M", Form master mark "I". Overglaze green painter's number "Z 5".
Mark: Crossed swords in underglaze blue, finial swords. 1st quality.
Decoration and execution:
Multi-part, originally screwed-on centerpiece dish on a profiled, octagonal stand. The wall of the dish is magnificently built from relief-plastically interlocked, fully formed grape leaves. The interior of the dish is characterized by an extremely elaborate, full-surface glitter and matte gilding with finely chiselled leaf veins. The exterior of the dish is white porcelain with fine gilded accents. The profiled foot is decorated with a revolving, gilded grape leaf relief and broad gold bands.
Dimensions: Height approx. 18.5 cm, diameter approx. 25.5 cm.
Condition: Very good, age-appropriate overall condition. The exceptionally fragile relief of the leaf tips shows no visible chipping or restorations. Interior gilding remains vivid with excellent deep gloss. On the profiled supporting foot there is historically typical, more pronounced gold wear and minimal, matte spotting in the gold bands.
