Description from the seller
Fassino Giuseppe, Nebbiolo d'Alba 2018
DESCRIPTION:
Producer: Fassino Giuseppe
Wine: Nebbiolo d'Alba
Vintage: 2018
Number of Bottles: 6
Size: 0,75L
Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo
Aging: A minimum of 6 months of this period must be spent aging in wood casks or barrels
Alc.: 13,5%
The wine displays a ruby red color enriched by orange-hued reflections brilliant, as one would expect from this type of wine. On the nose, it is warm and enveloping, with a complex bouquet that opens with aromatic and balsamic notes, followed by hints of wood, vanilla, cloves, and cinnamon, concluding with a fine, persistent citrusy finish. On the palate, it is full-bodied and voluminous, warm and smooth. The tannins are polished yet remain fresh, supported by a good level of acidity that promises excellent aging potential. Notes of leather, fine woods, and spices reappear, leading to a slightly bitter finish characteristic of the Nebbiolo grape. The wine offers great structure and finesse, with a perfect balance between taste and aroma.
