Description from the seller

A precious 12-person table service from Società Ceramica Lambrate (Milan), Richard Ginori group.
Finest porcelain. An elegant and refined pattern with a thread of pure gold.
Shape in use since 1790, sobriety and style: expression of the savoir-faire and craftsmanship of Richard Ginori.

The service is generally in good condition. Any defects are highlighted in the photographs, considered an integral part of this description. Notable are minimal crazing on some pieces, typical of this porcelain in strong earthenware produced in the fifties, and loss of the gold rim in some points. It should also be noted that two soup plates belong to a service with the same pattern, but from the Laveno Manifattura, with a diameter 1.5 cm larger.

All small signs of time testifying to the authenticity and history of the service, increasing its charm and making it an example of the value and excellence of Made in Italy.

Composed of:
- 12 Flat plates
- 12 Soup plates
- 12 Appetizer/Dessert plates

The plates bear the mark of Società Ceramica Lambrate, which merged into the Richard Ginori group in the 20th century.

Tracked multiple shipping and careful and professional packaging.

Seller's Story

My name is Riccardo. I recently graduated in Art History from the University of Florence and I am passionate about porcelain. From tableware to artistic vases, from figurines to tea and coffee sets, I am fascinated by the mastery and creativity of great artisans and designers who manage to shape this fragile material, transforming a rough mass into masterpieces with a story to tell. During my years at university I began to become interested in the history of nineteenth- and twentieth-century tableware; today, every day, I deal with prestigious porcelain pieces that always have something to say to me and to those who purchase them. I love that every day I can discover more about the objects I find while traveling around Italy, always learning something new. I always try to convey to my clients this passion I have for the objects I sell, certain that each of them has a story to tell: that of the creator, that of the one who preserved it, and that of the person who will give it a new life.
