Description from the seller
Two antique American siphon bottles – Louis Werber & Solomon Neikrug – New York – Bronx - ca. 1920–1950
Rare pair of authentic American siphon bottles from New York, Bronx, presumably dating from the first half of the 20th century.
Both bottles are made of thick, clear glass and feature distinctive metal siphon heads with original inscriptions. The historical engravings, the partly preserved label, and the attractive signs of age give these bottles a beautiful authentic and characteristic appearance.
Bottle 1 – Louis Werber, Bronx, New York
The metal siphon head bears the inscription Louis Werber – N.Y.
On the glass there is a partly preserved red label with the text Good Health. Additionally, there is a difficult-to-read engraving with, among other things, the mentions Louis Werber – Bronx, New York – Cont. 26 oz – Registered.
Particularly notable is the still-present original paper label, which, despite wear, forms a nice historical detail.
Bottle 2 – A. Diamond / Solomon Neikrug, New York
The metal siphon head is marked A. Diamond – Bronx, N.Y. and still has remnants of the original red paint.
The glass bottle features a large, round etched inscription with the name Solomon Neikrug – New York.
The combination of the marked siphon head and the decorative glass engraving makes this a distinctive specimen.
Specifications
* Origin: United States, New York
* Period: presumably 1920–1950
* Material: glass and metal
* Height: circa 29 cm per bottle
* Capacity: circa 26 oz (listed on one bottle)
* Quantity: 2 pcs

Condition
Both bottles are in authentic vintage condition, with wear and aging appropriate to their age.
The glass shows scratches, deposits, and localized discolorations. In one bottle there is sediment at the bottom. The metal siphon heads show patina and wear; on the A. Diamond head the red paint is partially missing.
The Good Health label is partly faded and damaged. The historical inscriptions and engravings are still recognizable.
The siphon mechanisms have not been tested. The bottles are offered as decorative and historical collectibles.
Two atmospheric American siphon bottles with their own history, especially suitable for collectors of antique glass, vintage soda advertising, and vintage bar accessories.
The photos form part of the description and give a good impression of the condition.
