Taperstick (2) - Lot 2 hand candlesticks, Empire style. Bronze, early 19th century.

Lot of two hand-held candlesticks from the Restoration period around 1825 (for the smaller one) and the mid-19th century, around 1840 for the other. In bronze with concentric circle motifs in Empire style. The handles are shaped like a flower and a large palmette. They have not been drilled and unscrew without effort. In fair condition, no breaks, cracks, losses or restoration of scratches and negligible signs of use, of course they are not new! No marks or signatures on these antique objects. Heights approximately 6 cm and 5 cm. Base diameters of 10.5 cm and 11.5 cm (excluding the handles). Total weight for the two is over 0.5 kg. ATTENTION: Still no delivery to the U.S.A.
