• Iconic Porsche 996 GT3 Mk2 sourced from a collection
• Equipped with the legendary water-cooled 3.6-liter 'Mezger' six-cylinder boxer engine
• Recently undergone major servicing with new fluids, filters and spark plugs
• Maintenance history neatly kept and verifiable via the included service booklet

HISTORY/OVERVIEW:

The Porsche 996 GT3 Mk2, introduced in 2003 as the evolved version of the first GT3, is regarded as one of the most engaging and purist analog driving experiences Porsche has ever built. Powered by the renowned motorsport-derived 'Mezger' engine, the Mk2 offers more power (381 hp) and a refined chassis and braking system compared to its predecessor. This particular 2004 example comes from a collector and is in exceptionally neat, well-maintained condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.

EXTERIOR:

The Paint is in excellent condition with deep gloss and no notable blemishes. The bodywork is tight and all seams and gaps align perfectly. The exterior presents itself as extremely neat and representative. The GT3 is fitted with original GT3 wheels and Michelin Sport Cup tires.

INTERIOR:

The interior is in very clean condition and clearly treated with care. The seats, carpet and headliner are clean, tight and well maintained, contributing to the overall high-quality look of the vehicle.

ENGINE AND TECHNICAL:

Powered by the atmospheric 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine paired with a manual gearbox. The car has recently undergone major servicing including replacement of engine oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs. The engine performs strongly and delivers immediate response. The rest of the mechanicals, including the brakes and suspension, are in very good condition.

DOCUMENTS:

The vehicle comes with the original service booklet and the accompanying documented maintenance history.

The vehicle can be viewed and collected. Bids are exclusive of transportation and export, unless otherwise stated. Arranging transport, ownership transfer and any export documents/COC costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
