Germany. Munich. 3 Mark. 1913. Otto I of Bavaria (1886-1913)
- Value: 3 Mark.
- Reign: Otto I of Bavaria (1886-1913).
- Year: 1913.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: OTTO KOENIG VON BAYERN with left-facing bust. Reverse: DEUTSCHES REICH · 1913 · DREI MARK with crowned German Imperial Eagle.
- Grade: AU58 (NGC).
3 Mark silver coin of the Kingdom of Bavaria, minted at the Munich mint, with a left-profile bust of King Otto I, of sober and realistic style, characteristic of early 20th-century German numismatics. The bust modeling presents soft features and balanced proportions, with minimal visible wear. The reverse shows the crowned German Imperial Eagle with central shield, with a strong heraldic presence and good detail in plumage and ornaments. The piece retains well-defined reliefs, relatively clean fields and an attractive original luster tempered by a light silver-gray patina, with small surface marks in keeping with its grade, offering a solid and homogeneous appearance.
