Description from the seller
Rocal, Limoges France, 10-piece porcelain dinner service, floral decor, gold and pearl relief, 1970-1990
Description:
Fine porcelain dinner service set made by the Rocal manufactory in Limoges.
It is distinguished by subtle pearl relief work and radiating fluting on the festooned edge of each piece, creating a delicate texture beneath the glossy glaze. In the center there is a stylized oriental-inspired floral and vegetal motif in carmine, burgundy and gilded accents.
This 10-piece lot includes a large covered soup tureen flanked by its two handles, a large oval service platter, two circular presentation platters, and a set of 6 matching deep plates.
