AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Splendid and refined pendant in genuine natural jade, a masterpiece of Asian artistic craftsmanship. This unique piece stands out for its majestic contrast carving (Qiaose technique): the artisan has skillfully exploited the stone's color veining, leaving the base in a translucent ice-white tone while shaping the outer layer in honey-golden/browned hues to give life and three-dimensionality to the design.
• The Subject: A classic and evocative traditional landscape motif (Landscape Series). The meticulous carving, entirely handmade, reveals in minute detail an ancient pavilion nestled among mountains and pine trees, historic Eastern symbols of longevity, peace, and harmony with nature.
• Material: Premium natural jadeite Type A jade. When touched, it feels pleasantly cool, compact, with a beautiful waxy and translucent luster when exposed to light.
• Conditions: Excellent, perfect in every finishing, ready to wear as an amulet or to keep in a collection.
